What you need:
- scissors
- stapler
- strips of paper
- thread
Cut strips of coloured or black and white paper. They may be 1 cm wide or narrower.
Use one strip for the middle of the decoration. Then cut pairs of strips which increase in length by a couple of cm.
Put the strips together by placing the shortest one in the middle, then the next length on either side with the longest strips on the outside. Staple the strips together at both ends. Use as many strips as you like.
When the decoration is ready, tie a piece of thread on to hang it up.
Rhombus Decoration
What you need
- hexagon stencil
- scissors
- glue
- coloured paper or pens
- ribbon
Use the stencil to draw a regular hexagon. Cut out three hexagons which will be the base for your decoration. Now cut nine rhombuses. Either colour them in white paper or use coloured paper.
Glue the rhombuses onto the hexagon as shown in the picture.
Fold the hexagons in half and glue them together as shown in the video. Before gluing together the last two sides, insert the ribbon.
